Client Care Associate
Maria Paton joined the Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels team as a Client Care Associate in 2026.
Before coming to YMOW, Maria supported the statewide volunteer program, AmeriCorps, through the Community Economic Development Association of Michigan, making sure the partnering organizations and volunteer service members were set up for success. An AmeriCorps alum herself, she served in different capacities with FEMA, Highland Park Elementary, and Thurston County Food Bank. Her passion to connect people with resources led her to her current role at YMOW.
Outside of her Client Care Associate role, Maria can be found curled up with a book or enjoying walks on local trails. Maria said she feels fortunate to be part of a team committed to caring for its neighbors and community.
