Cameron Woolley
Client Care Associate
Prior to joining the team as a Client Care Associate in 2025, Cameron Woolley was a YMOW volunteer and YMOW’s honored volunteer of the quarter.
His role at YMOW is a marked change from his career in law and IT. Working for YMOW, Cameron said, allows him to get to know and to serve his community. Cameron said the people on his route have become a part of his life. He sees pictures of people’s grandchildren, hears stories about their lives, and enjoys seeing firsthand how a meal and a smile can change a person’s day.
“It feels special when people let you in like that,” Cameron said. “It really is about so much more than a meal.”
Cameron knows the impact that even a short visit can have on the life of a senior. His own grandmother was lonely in her final years, but even a short visit would lift her mood. He’s grateful for the opportunity to offer that to the seniors on his route, and equally grateful for what he receives in return.
A cat dad, a houseplant keeper, and a nature lover, Cameron and his husband Patrick live in Ypsilanti.
