We're inviting everyone to pitch in and make this Valentine's Day extra special for all of our homebound neighbors. Handmade cards will be collected and distributed to YMOW clients on Monday, Feb. 13.
Take a moment to explore all of the ways you can get in on the crafty fun!
- Grab your favorite Gals, a bottle of wine, and join Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels at the Tipsy Ypsi Paint Studio for a Galentines Day event. Make cards for seniors, and/or purchase a wine glass or other glassware to paint. All cardmaking supplies are provided. Click the button above for details.
- Host your own cardmaking event! Groups of 10 or more can request supplies from YMOW. Please bring your completed cards to YMOW, 1110 W. Cross St., by Wednesday, Feb. 8.
- Make cards on your own, with your kids, or with a small group of friends. Cards can be dropped off at YMOW, 1110 W. Cross St., by Wednesday, Feb. 8.
- Cardmaking kits are on sale now at Unicorn Feed and Supply, 114 W. Michigan Ave. $10 Each kit makes one handmade card and provides 2 hot meals for a local senior.
