An initial assessment and a doctor’s referral are required to receive meals. Once eligibility is determined, meal delivery will start right away, followed by an in-home assessment to determine other ways YMOW may be able to assist. These in-home assessments are repeated every six months and are conducted by our clinical staff and nursing students working with YMOW.
