More than 200 people rely on Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels to provide them with healthy meals and a friendly smile each day. And to do so, YMOW relies on generous donors like you.
Every donation of $40 provides a hungry homebound neighbor with 5 days of meals, and 93 cents of every tax-deductible dollar goes directly to providing healthy meals and other services.
Your financial support does more than feed a lonely senior or homebound neighbor. It also ensures a daily visit and a welcome smile from a YMOW driver or volunteer.
That daily visit doubles as a wellness check, as drivers and volunteers are trained to look for signs that a client might be in distress or in need of additional help.
