Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels holds several annual fundraisers to support our work in the community. None of these events would be possible without the generosity of volunteers like you.
From serving on a planning committee to helping the day of an event, there is a job for everyone.

Meals on Heels
Launched in 2017, Meals on Heels invites supporters to don their most fabulous footwear while enjoying food, drinks, music and fun, all in support of the YMOW mission.
Volunteers are needed to:
- serve on the planning committee.
- secure donations from area restaurants and businesses.
- assist guests at the event.
- help with setup and teardown.
Each year in advance of Valentine’s Day, volunteers have the opportunity to create handmade greetings for our clients.
You can show our clients a little love this Valentine’s Day by:
- attending one of our two cardmaking events
- donating supplies such as paper and decorations.
- recruiting friends and family to make cards on your own time
- purchase cardmaking kits from Unicorn Feed and Supply. Each handmade kit creates one special card that you can keep, give away, or donate and each card purchase provides two hot meals for a local senior
Pi(e) and a Pint
March 14 is Pi Day, a day to celebrate the infinite mathematical constant that, like hunger, knows no end.
This year's Pi Day celebration will take place at Corner Brewery. The event takes on a new flavor this year with the addition of a customized Dungeons and Dragons game!
