More than a Meal Since 1974
Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels has always delivered more than food. That’s never been more true, or more necessary, than now.
While we continue to deliver meals to the homebound residents of Ypsilanti, we struggle to keep our Personal Care Pantry stocked with much-needed non-food essentials. Our clients, who cannot get out to a store, often don’t have internet access or money to make online purchases. And even if they can, finding things like cleaning products and toilet paper is difficult, if not impossible.
“Many of our clients are in need of basic necessities like incontinence products, cleaning supplies, toilet paper and soap,” said Executive Director Alison Foreman. “We’re calling on our neighbors to help us fill this need.”
YMOW’s Personal Care Pantry is available year round to meet clients’ basic needs, but demand has increased during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our shelves are depleted, and we need your help to restock them.
Please consider donating the following items. You can have them shipped to YMOW, 1110 W. Cross St., Ypsilanti, MI, 48197, or call us at (734) 487-9669 to schedule a time to drop them off. Of course, cash donations also are needed and happily accepted.
